SECOND COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND – CATHOLIC CHARITIES CAMPAIGN FOR CHARITY AND JUSTICE COLLECTION As part of Catholic Charities centennial year, the Archdiocese is inaugurating the Catholic Charities Campaign for Charity and Justice special collection in its parishes. It is not a new special collection, but a replacement for the annual Catholic Campaign for Human Development special collection. This collection provides an important opportunity to reinforce engaging in acts of charity and justice as essential to living out our Catholic faith. It also raises awareness of the scope of Catholic Charities work in our local communities. A key feature of this collection is that a significant portion of the funds raised will provide a number of seed grants to Archdiocesan parishes.

Is this turmoil symptomatic of a deeper, looming moral crisis in America?
Can our institutions and values save us from this crisis? Will they even prevail? How do we find hope and a way forward?
