LENTEN SIMPLE SUPPERS
Please join us during any or all of the Wednesday of Lent: 3/20, 27 and 4/3, 10, 17 for our Lenten Simple Suppers. Prayers and meditation begin at 7PM in the dining room of the rectory, followed by a meal of soup and salad…and fellowship. The suppers are a wonderful way to not only deepen one’s Lenten experience, but also to be able to reflect in a very comfortable and quiet setting with fellow parishioners. For more information, please call Chris Williams at 304-337-1252 or [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you then.

Lenten film viewing
The Mission, a film that is perfect for Lent, will be shown on Friday evening, March 22, at 6:30pm and on Saturday afternoon, April 13, at 2pm in the Rectory’s 2nd floor meeting room. Starring Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons, it is a mostly true story of the18th century Jesuit mission to South America to convert the Guarnani natives to Christianity. It contains elements of worldly transgressions (slave trading, power, lust, revenge, hate) and one man’s attempt to change his life. This film, a Paulist Fathers production, received rave reviews and several awards and if you’ve never seen it, don’t miss this showing - it will enhance your Lenten experience. The movie is rated PG and is 21/2 hours long.
