ALTAR SERVERS TRAINING On Sunday October 7 and 14, 2018 an altar server training session will take place in the sacristy at 9:15 A.M. These sessions are for anyone who wishes to become an altar server. You must attend Both sessions. All ages are welcomed including adults. Prerequisite is you must have already received First Holy Communion. You will be staying both Sundays for the 10 A.M. Mass.

Saturday Oct 13 @ 5:30PM - Family Ministry Potluck Dinner Come have dinner and hang out with our faith community! This is an opportunity for families to come together for an evening of fun, food, music, balloons, and friendship. There will be fun activities for the kids to do together, while parents can spend the time getting to know each other.
Saturday, Dec 1 @ 5PM - Family Advent Wreath Making Event This is a great way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon with the family. Come join us for cookies & hot chocolate while making your own Family Advent Wreath. Kids will have fun doing crafts that teach the meaning of Advent and each family will also take home an advent calendar to countdown the days until Christmas.

Family Ministry Parent Committee The Family Ministry is organized and managed through a committee of parents that represent the various age groups of our children and the diversity of our families. This year’s parent committee members are: Sandra Chippas, Oriana Di Caro, Bridget Clark, Julian Joseph, Mary Mcinerney, Tim Seymour, Ariana Stolar, and Amanda Koenig Stone. The packing of the comfort bags will begin at 9:15am. From 10:00 - 10:15am Group location assignments, group photo, and prayer and from 10:15 - 10:30am McDonald's Gift Cards are dispersed and the groups go on
their way.

BLESSED SACRAMENT WOMEN'S GROUP A big thank you to all who came out for our first meeting of the Blessed Sacrament Women’s Group. Our next meeting will be on Monday, October 29th from 7 to 9 PM. During this session we will discuss ways to implement the ideas and thoughts that were discussed in the first meeting. The woman’s group is open to all women at our parish and women outside of Blessed Sacrament, so ladies feel free to bring female friends.

CATHOLIC FAMILIES ALL SAINT'S DAY PARTY Please join us for a traditional take on Halloween! On October 27th, 3.45- 5 pm we will gather in the undercroft to do some All Saints’ Day-related crafts and eat something sweet. Our children will learn the real meaning behind "Halloween" - that is "All Hallows' Eve". We encourage all kids to dress up as their favorite Saint or Angel or other costume related to this theme. On Saturday, October 6, there will be an archdiocesan pilgrimage to Washington, D.C., to visit the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. If you have never been on a pilgrimage before, please consider joining Cardinal Dolan for a day of prayer, reflection, and trust in her care as we visit the basilica affectionately known as Mary’s Shrine. Buses will depart from across the archdiocese and there will be time to tour the basilica, pray the rosary together, and celebrate Holy Mass before returning home.
