Finance Committee Corner Last Sunday $6,383 was received in the offertory
baskets at Mass and $3,389 was received through Parish Pay, for a total of $9,772. However, the weekly operating costs to run our parish, such as salaries, benefits, utilities, office and program expenses, etc., are approximately $20,000. This means
we had an operating deficit of $10,228 this week.
The second collection in support of our Soup Kitchen totaled $1,227.
SHARE YOUR VOICE
Thank you for participating in our parish survey this past May. The Committee for Pastoral Planning would like to share the results with you. But more importantly, we would like to discuss the goals of the Parish with you.
As you may recall the purpose of the survey was to obtain your feedback on the state of the Parish - what it is doing well and what it can improve. This information will assist the Parish in preparing a Pastoral Plan to guide the Parish forward in the coming years.
At this weekend’s Masses, September 10 & 11, the Committee for Pastoral Planning will share highlights of the survey and resulting parish goals. The entire survey and analysis will be available at
www.blessedsacramentnyc.org/share-your-voice and a printed copy will be on file in the rectory office for our review.
We would also like to discuss the goals the Parish is setting for itself. Your voice in setting the future of the Parish is tantamount to its success and therefore the Committee for Pastoral Planning is hosting three separate
Share Your Voice meetings, so you can have input on the future goals of the Parish and its Pastoral Plan. The meetings will take place in the lower church hall. To ensure we have adequate seating, please sign up at the church entrance for the session that is convenient for you.

Sunday 12:30 PM Choir The parish is grateful to all those who have so generously volunteered their time and talent to help enrich our worship at the Sunday 12:30 Mass each week by singing in the choir. We would like to see this choir continue its presence and even expand. If you are interested in singing please call the Rectory with your name, phone number, and email.
