BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
On the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month we have Bereavement Support Groups - General Bereavement at 5:30 p.m. and Perinatal Loss (for individuals and couples who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death) at 6:30 p.m. Both groups will meet in the Rectory on January 16th.

Today we will have a Coffee Hour in the Rectory after the 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. Masses.
BLESSED SACRAMENT YOUNG ADULTS GROUP
Our monthly Second Sunday Social will be held today, Sunday, after the 5:30 pm Mass. In the Rectory. Parishioners in their 20's and 30's are welcome to come for a get-together with others in the area over food and drink. Please join us!

Starts at Holy Name of Jesus Church (West 96th St./Amsterdam Avenue.) Walk continues north to several neighborhood faith communities and ends at Holy Name of Jesus Church.

CHRISTMAS THANK YOU!
30 families received turkeys, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and nuts (donated by Pioneer Supermarket). Each family packed a bag of groceries from our food pantry from goods donated by our parishioners. Thanks to everyone who helped make this Christmas a brighter and warmer holiday for our families! We especially thank the managers of Pioneer Supermarket, on Columbus Avenue and 74th Street, who have been so generous to us for the past 20 years.
MARCH FOR LIFE IN WASHINGTON, D.C.: - JAN 22ND
Join us on pilgrimage to Washington DC! We will gather with hundreds of thousands from throughout our nation to pray and publicly witness so that hearts and minds maybe opened to the Gospel of Life and our nation to pray and publicly witness so that hearts and minds may be opened to the Gospel of Life and laws may be changed to reverence all human life. A Manhattan bus (sponsored by the Archdiocesan Family Life/Respect Life office) will be leaving from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 457 W. 51st St. (9th/10th Ave.) Mass 6:15 a.m./depart 7 a.m. sharp. The total cost for the trip is $50, (check made payable to “J & R Tours” for $45 & $5 in cash for pizza). COLLECTIONS:
Our Christmas Collection came to $128,004. Our December 28th collection was $9,511. We received $3,298 on January 1st for the Solemnity of Mary. Our January 4th collection came to $10,893.59 In addition, we received $2,240 for the Communications & Catholic University of America collection. We are very grateful to all of our parishioners for their continued support.
